Nervous Timneh

This is likely a normal personality trait for this bird. What is his diet? What size cage does he live in? Where is his cage located? How much light is in his room? How often does he come out of the cage?

You did not mention her diet, and if she is not eating a diet for a parrot, like organic pellets and a little fruit and veggie, she may be nervous because of wrong food. Birds cannot eat table food, and proteins need to be provided within an organic pelleted diet.Too much protein or sugar can cause birds to be hyperactive Sugar is also a deadly poison for birds as is salt.

It sounds as if she is eating or drinking the wrong foods, so make sure she gets NO sugar, no salt, no people food of any kind and drinks only water. Food should be food made for parrots which is organic pellets. If this is not the case, then there is something else wrong in the environment.

Write back in with more details about how she lives and what kind of cage she's in and how much rest she is getting, and we can go from there.

Thanks for writing,
Linda
