New Maroon bellied conure not playing

hello please help me i recused him 2wks ago the person who we got him off was feeding him budgie food he had no toys, he is now fed parrot food and he has lots of toys but he doesnt play with them, he has also started to chew his tail feathers. i think the pervious owner just brought him stuck him in a cage and left him in there as he cant fly either!

Your bird is probably sick and will have to be examined by an Avian Vet. There is a link on this site to help in finding one, and local telephone directories are also good.

He has been neglected, and has probably become sick. He will not get well without the services of an avian vet and will die without treatment. He is also possibly starved almost to death, so move quickly on this before he dies.
