noise coming from parrots chest

Hi, This morning my bird accidently flew into the shower and got really wet and was quite panicked. He was sitting on my shoulder later and when he would breath i could hear a noise in his breathing kind of like rattling not sure how to describe.....Could he have gotten water in his lungs? And if so is this dangerous for him?
