New bird not playing with toys

If the bird has only been in it's new cage for a few days, then give it time. Remember, it has gone from being with lots of birds to alone in a cage in a strange place.

The other thing is, you need to offer a variety of toys to find out what kind it likes. Quaker parrots enjoy weaving huge elaborate nests. You might provide some Shredders that it can weave through the bars. I know of a Quaker that loves this.

If your bird continues to be inactive, then please Find an Avian Vet to examine your bird to make sure it is not ill. Many birds purchased through pet stores are ill when they arrive, because the breeders are in it for the money and do not care for their birds properly.
