not friendly ring necked

my parrot is one year old. He came to me 1 month back. even today he is not friendly with me. he fears when i open the cage to keep food items. even when i go near that. not willing to take bath. refuse to eat much. not sleeping sometimes in the night because of fear i feel. pl help me
