Have you got cuttlefish, Iodine block, lava stonein the cage, do you have a pedi perch so he/she can rub his beak down & have you a calcium perch.
If the bird doesn't have these things to help with the grinding then the beak will get over grown & once you go down the road of having to go to the Avian vet to have them cut the beak down to size it will be an on-going thing plus it is not very nice for the bird to have this done periodically.

You need to Find an Avian Vet to examine your bird to determine why the beak is overgrown. It may die from fatty liver disease if this is the cause.

If you are feeding seeds and/or table food to your bird instead of a healthy pellet diet like Harrison's or Roudybush then fatty liver disease is a real possibility.

Please make an appointment with an avian vet soon. Dr B can not tell you the cause or if your bird will die without examining your bird.
