Parakeet baldness

I have 2 keets that are completely bald except the tips of wings tail and a tiny patch lining the nare. Otherwise they seem healthy they r about 6 wkd old and were with many others that are healthy and normal

Took them to vet the vet said it looks like the parents overpreened them or plucked them for somereason but other than that they are healthy. He even showed me where some were starting to grow back. Thank god I thought they had a disease

You didn't ask a question, just made statements, but I suspect you are asking if it is normal? No, is NOT normal and you need to have them examined by an avian vet. Dr B can't help, because he can not examine the birds and run tests.

Please read the Feather Damaging Behavior article that Dr B wrote. Then, if you don't already have an avian vet, please Find an Avian Vet for your birds.
