Parakeet having seizures

I have a year-old parakeet named Orbie. A few weeks ago, he flew wildly in the cage as I was trying to clean the perches. Later that night, he was sitting on the bottom, leaning to one side, looking like he was very weak & ready to die. He did survive, but has not been right since. He seems very fragile, still weak & unsteady, & has begun having seizures several times a day. It breaks my heart. I am taking him to the vet. I want him to live, but not to suffer. I hope they can help him.
