Your bird bleeding is an EMERGENCY. Please get her to vet as soon as you can, and tell them you need to come in right away as this is an emergency. If hen is eggbound, she may die during the night if she is not already dead. Birds do not have much blood to lose, so this is a life threatening emergency. If she lives through the night, take her into Avian Vet first thing. If your vet will meet you at office, GO NOW AND DO NOT DELAY.

I lost a hen some years' ago because she was egg-bound. She was too young to lay the egg, and it broke inside of her. She died an agonizing death in the middle of the night. Her cage-mate woke us up with his screaming. So, please get to vet immediately if possible.

It is possible that your bird is egg bound if it is a female. No matter what, you need to get your bird to an avian vet ASAP. Please do not delay.

I hope everything will be okay.
