parrot noises while sleeping.

My parrot makes weird noises when he is sleepy. He is an Indian Ringneck Parrot and the noises are as if he is rubbing his upper beak with its lower beak. And nowadays he is screaming too much and when i let him free, he plays with me. But when i let him free in a room,he plays there but starts screaming when i get him back in hos cage.

He goes in the room for 2 hours daily and about 10 minutes he plays with me outside. He has a big cage and doesn't show that he is living in a very small area. His cage had about 4 feet length and 3feet height. what should i do to make him stop screaming all day in the cage and what is the noises that he makes when he is sleepy.
