Parrotlet died - intestinal?

My parrotlet was 4. she seemed very happy the day I found her on the floor-passed away. She was on the top of her cage playing and then I looked over and she had died. I noticed some of her intestines had come out of her bottom. She had some loose stools the day before but that came and went to what she ate. I fed her seed, apples, strawberries, scrambled eggs. She was very pampered and handled daily. She was such a good bird. I bought her from private breeder.

Sorry for your loss. Now all you can do now is have
a necropsy done on her.I hope you know how to preserve the body to bring to your vet.DO NOT FREEZE her wet her completely in cold water and wrap in wet paper towels then place in a plastic bag and put in the refrigerator.Get her to your vet ASAP.I hope you don't have any other birds.
Again I am so sorry for your loss.

Parrotlet loss

What are you wanting to ask the Vet? I don't think he will be able to determine the cause of death without running tests on the bird. You might want to take the bird to a vet if you have other birds.

I am very sorry for your loss. It must be very hard.
