parrotlets ears

should I be able to see my parrotlets ears? He is approximately 6 months old and going through a molt

ear holes

when i scratch any of my parrots on the ear they yawn. try scratching around the area where the ears are located and see if your bird yawns, then you have found where the ear holes are.

Birds don't have "ears" just the holes. Normally the head feathers are too small and too dense to see them. Sometimes when they are wet, you can see the holes but not usually.

Parrotlets are so small that chances are you may never see the ear holes.
