Hi There, I understand, from what I've read that your peach face bird's lower is not aligned with the top one. I hope this has recently happen and you didn't get your bird like that. I'll advise you to immediately take your bird to an AVIAN VET as soon as possible; it could get worse.

A few months ago my Cockatiel's lower beak had twisted and wasn't aligned with the top. She couldn't swallow anything; not even water. I immediately took her to her doctor (Avian Vet)and learned that she'd suffered a stroke. Unfortunately, I had to put her to sleep; she was seventeen and a half years old. God bless!

Please take no chances but act quickly on this; these kind of things is not to delay with but go to a vet ASAP and they'll examine your bird and tell you what the problem is. Take care and God bless.

This is a problem for an Avian Vet ONLY in your driving area. Sounds like beak may become unhinged or is crooked in the first place. Only an avian vet can help you with this.

Do not wait to have your bird examined by an Avian Vet because they may be able to help with this. No one on the internet can help you because bird has to be seen and examined in person.

Beware of anyone on or off the internet who tells you they know exactly what to do, because they are not being truthful, and this can and will cause your bird much uneeded suffering. Avian vets are the only vets licensed and trained in the care of birds. They are your "go to" people for physical issues with your bird.

Let us know what avian vet has to say and thanks for writing,
Linda
