No, 'people flu' cannot be transfered to parrots however, your germs can. So if you have the flu same rule apply as if to other people, avoid kissing, face touching, closeness, coughing, sneezing etc on the bird. It isn't the flu that will hurt the bird, it is your germs & you have a a lot more germs with the flu than if you were healthy. General hygiene practices are all you need.
