Question: "...Your label instructs a no use on utensils. Can I use Pet Focus for soaking my syringes and stainless clean up in my bird nursery?"*** Answer: "The labels instruct a no use on utensils, etc. because our formula and the label instructions are certified bird safe with the “no rinse”. Since Pet Focus Cleanser claimed “no rinse” on the label, we are required by labeling laws to remain consistent throughout the label. Another words, all instructions to the use of our product must be toward a “no rinse” instruction. Pet Focus Cleanser is great for soaking syringes, clean up on medical or stainless etc but must be rinsed. Hundreds of our customers currently use Pet Focus Cleanser to soak syringes, clean ups in nurseries etc., not to worry... it's ok to use in these regards."
Question: "Can Pet Focus Cleanser be used on wood perches and other wood surfaces?"
*** Answer: "Yes, Pet Focus Cleanser is great for cleaning off poop, food, etc., on wood perches and allow to air dry."
Question: "...do I have to remove the birds from the aviary when using Pet Focus Cleanser?"
*** Answer: "Pet Focus Cleanser is EPA approved to be safe for birds….all birds…all sizes. We do recommend that if used for aviaries that birds will not be removed that Pet Focus Cleanser is best sponged on and wiped off. I would recommend this for any cleaner, no living thing likes to have cleaner sprayed at them."
Question: "Do I need to wear goggles and gloves?"
*** Answer: "Pet Focus Cleanser is as safe as it gets for birds and people. It’s no rinse formula meaning it leaves no harmful residue when let to air dry on cages. It is also a neutral pH meaning that it won’t burn skin but the warnings are on the label as it will remove fatty oils from the skin like dish soap will. All cleaners are required to put warnings on labels. All disinfectants must have these warnings as do bleach and other household items. Even bleach is corrosive and has warnings of goggles and gloves."

Label requirements:
** Manufacturers of cleaning compounds and disinfectants are mandated to use harsh language in an attempt to avoid misuse of the product.
** Even on the shelf supermarket products use this language depending on the cleaning product.
** CORROSIVE on this label is required because it is a concentrate and it causes eye irritation. Anything that may cause eye, nasal or skin irritations….must have the CORROSIVE notation. CORROSIVE in the regard doesn’t mean it will eat through paint or metals when used as directed.
** Pet Focus concentrate is a neutral pH formula. It doesn’t burn skin but rather removes the fatty acids from skin and therefore again, must have strong language such as use gloves.
** Masks are not required if you are in an open environment such as a room.
Mango also manufacturers bird cages, stands, toys etc and we recommend that Pet Focus be used on our products. Some breeder use Pet Focus to soak syringes…however, since Pet Focus is registered as a NO RINSE formula which means you can spray on and wipe off or air dry WITHOUT rinsing….if you are to use Pet Focus on dishes, syringes etc…use must rinse…
