Bird eye infections

Birds generally do not get pink eye from people. But there are medications to treat eye infections in birds if this happens.

about pink eye

I have a friend of mine that was at my house and his eye is all red and swollen like pink eye but my question is, is there medicines to give the birds to get rid of the pink eye or will it just kill them? I dont want to lose my birds if this happens. Thank you for your time.

Humans CAN give birds pink eye

Yes, your bird can get this (from you) and it is dangerous. Wash hands and no kissing the bird.
