pinnaple conure missing since yesterday ,is he dead?

hi , i dont know how i m writting this i m all tears my buddy pinnaple head conure me and my kids took him out side yesterday and put him on small tree where he loved to sit after a while we all came inside but we forgot him then i sat with my kids for their home work after 4-5 hours we realized for poor birdie his name is SHONU and i ran out side and he wasn't there then i looked at whole street by walking and calling him but couldn't find him , we have wild cat roaming around in our neibourhood so i was soooo scared that cat might have eaten him bcoz he never flew high ever so i m thinking he must be walking and then God know but i m soooo depressed since then coudn't sleep all night when ever i see his cage and food and toys my heart is just coming out of my chest i m just crying and crying i dont know how to get over this it seems like i will never be ok without him we got him since he was lill baby i fed him formula he lived with us for 2 years and few month but he was like our family member he use to come park with us , he love to dance on music he was like a human in a bird's body. i m soooo when ever kids use to go to school i had buddy with me but now today i feel i m so alone without him i don't know what to do where to find him i m just going crzy with out him . i can't beleive i m writing about him as a missing bird this all seems some kind of nightmare.i dont know if i cant find similar bird b'coz SHONU was a one of a kind he was my lill baby my shweet lill baby. where ever he is God will make him save if he if alive .(Amin)

Bird missing

First I must say how sorry I feel for you at this time. I know the kind of pain that you're going through at present; I know how it hurts. All you can do right now is ask around the neighbourhood. You can also make some posters with his picture and put them up everywhere. Some good samaritan may find him and bring him back to you; don't forget to put your phone number. Please pray like you never prayed before and DO NOT give up hope. Trust in the Lord to keep him safe and return him to you. My heart goes out to you at this time, I am so sad for you and for your bird too because you never know what he could face out there by himself. I am typing with tears rolling down my cheeks; I have never had a missing bird but I had birds that died of old age. I do hope that you find him so take care and God bless!

Missing conure

So sorry for your loss. At this point there is no telling where your bird is or if he is still alive or not. Have you checked with your neighbors on the chance that someone might have taken him in? Also, check with your local animal shelters or vets to see if anyone might have turned the bird in there. Unfortunately domestic birds do not know how to locate their homes when they are outside. Whether your bird was flying or walking, it could have fallen prey to other animals or birds. I have never, ever taken my bird outside unless she is in the cage on the way to the vet. All doors and windows are closed or screened. I couldn't bear the loss of my bird or what perils she might encounter while outside. Good luck.

Bird left outside, now missing

It is possible it is alive, but chances are it is not. I am sorry for your loss, that was a hard lesson learned.

If you get another bird, do NOT take the bird outside unless it is in a cage and you are with the bird. It can get diseases from the wild birds, since it is sitting where the wild birds sit. It could also get attacked by another animal that sneaks up and you don't see.
