Plants/Flowers and Parrots

by A. Sullivan
(Houston, Texas)

I have been reading about plants/trees that are safe for Parrots but I have not been able to find a site that details on what parts are safe (example, bark, stem, leaves and flowers).

Rubber Plant (ficus elastica) –Is milky stuff that is in the plant and leaves themselves safe?
Passion Flower Vine
Corn Plant
Yucca plant
Crepe Myrtle

Thank you.

I think your best bet is to contact Dr. Vaden, he has done extensive research on safe plants and even the vets look to him for the answers.
