Well, unless someone else knows what you're talking about, we cannot identify bird without a picture. It could be a conure or a ringneck parakeet. If you have not taken this bird to an Avian(bird) vet, then be sure to do so because all rescued and new birds need to be seen by an Avian vet within the first week they are in our homes. Rescued birds are always sick with some kind of infection and/or parasite, and need the services of an Avian Vet. New birds get sick from the stress of moving, and also need to be checked out by an Avian Vet. DO NOT TAKE BIRD TO A REGULAR DOG AND CAT VET UNLESS THEY HAVE AN AVIAN VET ON STAFF BECAUSE DOG AND CAT VETS ARE NOT LICENSED OR TRAINED TO CARE FOR BIRDS AND WILL HURT YOUR BIRD INSTEAD OF HELPING IT.

If no one else can identify bird, the Avian Vet will be able to, and you need to go there anyway.

Thanks for writing,
Linda
