Plucking babies

Seven weeks ago our 2 lovebirds had 2 babies. Two days ago we noticed that the parents were plucking their feathers. The babies had just recently left the nesting box and we never noticed the parents doing this before.

Also we are new to baby birds and don't know much about them beside what we read on the internet, we did not know the babies were supposed to have feathers on the body and thought that feathers would come in later until we noticed they were being plucked, what can we do now to help out baby birds. They have been removed from the parents.
