Does it mean my bird is sick just because she puffs up her feathers? i haven't noticed any behavioral changes or changes in her eating/ playing habits.

bird puffing up feathers
by: Tracie

Birds will puff up their feathers to keep warm and to look big if upset. Birds will often fluff a bit when sleeping.

If your bird occasionally puffs it's feathers, it is normal. If your bird if fluffed up most of the time, it is sick.
