quaker has a blue beak, some blood dried on one side of nostril.

I came home today and our parrot's beak looks blue, and there is dried blood on one side of nostril. He acts okay otherwise. Not talking hardly as much as usual, but still talks some. We gave him food out of our hand and he acts like beak is sore.

Nostril bleeding and beak blue

This is something that needs to be looked at by an avian vet ASAP. That is the only way it can be determined what is wrong and your bird can get the help it needs.

There could be an infection or something lodged in the nostril. It could be a reaction to something in the air or low humidity. This could be a serious emergency and only an avian vet can help you figure it out.
