Quaker Parrot Poop

My quaker Parrot's poop has turned a very runny lime green color, and has a very bad oder. What can cause this?
His feathers around his butt are starting to disappear, I think because of the acid in his poop. He is also loosing a lot of weight and is becoming a very picky eater.

Dr Laurie Hess is in Bedford Hills. Your bird needs antibiotics now. My Eclectus had bright green poop & was lethargic. It turned out to be Pseudomonas, which usually has very smelly poop. Your bird may be contagious to other birds, so be very careful & wash your hands. I hope you can get her to a vet soon. Their little bodies can't take much. Good luck.

You must get your bird to an avian vet right away for an in person exam. Dr B can not help with this, because he can't examine the bird and run any tests to determine what is causing this.
