Quaker stands on one leg

by Diane
(Alabama)

My new little Quaker stands on one leg alot. Today when I was talking to him he did this and stretched out reminds me of a dancer stretching. Just want to know if he is messing with me or if something might be wrong. Most of the time he just holds his leg up and not stretch like he did today

Quaker on one leg
by: Tracie

Standing on one leg to sleep is not unusual, but if it is doing this all the time, it's leg may be injured. Please Find an Avian Vet for your bird that can examine the bird to make sure it is not in pain.
