quite quaker

hello. we buy a quaker parrot 2 weeks ago she is 8 mounths old 1 week she wasn't friendly and try to open her cage I told my kids let her used to us since 3 days ago she got quite my kids hand her and she looks very peaceful but she doesn't do any moving any noise and we getting a little woried about her,is any thing wrong with her?

Quite bird

I don't know, getting quiet is usually a sign of illness. Often birds from chain pet stores are ill due to poor breeding practices.

If your bird has not been seen by an avian vet, then please Find an Avian Vet to examine your bird. Dr B can not tell if your bird is sick over the Internet, so better safe than sorry.
