Lorikeet biting
by: Tracie

It will take patience, understanding and persistence to help your bird learn that biting is not necessary. You will need to learn how to notice when the bird is not happy with what you are doing and respect his/her wishes.

Once the bird feels it can trust you, and you learn not to force your way on the bird, you will both get along better. You will be able to teach your bird an acceptable behavior once the bird trusts you.

Please read some of the articles on our Parrot Training page.

You need to have a DNA test done to determine the gender of your bird.
