Ring necked Parrot

How do I train my very nervouse ring necked parrot. We have had him for about 2 months now and he just won't let us anywhere near him.

It takes lots of time and patience, and it is sometimes hard to take the rejection, I know.

We have some articles on our Parrot Training page that will help you to understand how to develop a relationship with your bird and also how to learn what the bird does and does not like so that you can train the bird.

Mainly be careful not to push the bird and make it mad or cause it to not trust you. It takes sooo long to gain back trust that has been lost.
