Absolutely do not room these 2 together. With the size difference and hormonal surges, it is dangerous. I have personally seem the damage caused by large birds attacking smaller ones when injured birds were surrendered to a bird rescue near me. It can result in terrible injuries to the smaller birds, including fatal skull fractures.

No, your Amazon can not share a cage with a conure. Amazons can have sudden hormonal issues that can last for days, months or years. Your conure would not stand a chance if the Amazon suddenly turned on it.
