I strongly suggest you take your bird to an Avian Vet ONLY for an exam to make sure it is doing okay. Hopefully, either parents are feeding him or you know how to handfeed baby parrot formula using a syringe. Macaws have to be handfed up to 6 months before weaning process is begun. Wild Mothers feed up to a year while teaching babies how to forage for food. The larger birds take longer to wean and are emotionally less developed than their smaller counterparts. This includes the larger Cockatoos as well.

Thanks for writing,
Linda
