senagal parrot swollen nostril

Hi i have a senagal parrot about 7 years old recently his left nostril has swollen and looks encristed inside he does seem fine in himself any advice please as its continuing to swell

Dr B can not tell you what is wrong without examining your bird in person. He has answered this question before for other people. It is possible that the bird has something lodged in the nare, or it could be more serious. If something is lodged, then an avian vet will need to help clear it out and your bird will need antibiotics. If there is a growth, it will need to be biopsied.

Please take your bird to an avian vet right away. Do not take your bird to a regular dog/cat vet, your bird may not leave the office alive, because often they do not know how to treat small birds.
