Severe Macaw has red tint on face and feet

My severe macaw is showing some red tint on his face (in the white feathers) and on his feet. What is causing this and is it an issue I need to be concerned with?

These are some questions the Vet has asked before and his advice.

Have you recently given your bird a full spectrum lamp?

The pink face may be stress related short term, but long term it is more than stress. Infection may cause it, as well as being too hot.

You should have your bird examined by an avain vet.
