Shakking feathers?

by Tashi
(U.S.A)

I have 2 blue and gold Macaws, my family bought them recently from someone else and i am new to things they do, I was wondering if they shiver their feathers if it just means they are cold, It's not like when their feathers release their tension it literally looks like shivering

Bird shaking feathers

Yes, it could mean they are cold. But it could indicate nervousness or anxiety. I recommend that you have them examined by an avian veterinarian to determine if the cause is medically related.
