I have a pineapple green cheek conure. I take him into the shower with me almost daily. He waits patiently on the shower door until I am done, then he gets his turn. He sits under the spray and goes to sleep. He just loves his bath. In fact, If I take a shower, brush my teeth or even wash dishes without him, he sits in his cage and pouts!

As long as the area she is in is warm, you can give a parrot a spray bath several times a week. Make sure bird is never sitting in any kind of draft or over or under any air conditioning vents or in line of any fans. A draft even on a warm day can cause pneumonia, so always keep bird out of any drafts even coming from single pane glass windows.

We use a plastic plant sprayer to give our Amazons a bath, and it also helps to clean off dust from cage bars and perches. So, it helps to keep dust down, and makes cage and perches easier to wipe down.

Eclectus parrots love bathing & can be sprayed on a daily basis if it's what they want. Eclectus parrots love to have their feathers in perfect condition & so they look after them by preening & bathing regularly.

They should be bathed (sprayed) in the morning so they have the day to dry properly. An eclectus loves to get really soaked & can take a very long time to dry. On cold days cut the bathing down to maybe once a week & when bathing make sure they are in a warm room so they don't get top cold.
