If Bird Looks Sick, then Bird is SICK
by: Linda

I agree with Traci, and you need to take your birds to a qualified avian vet as soon as you can get an appointment. Healthy birds do not sit in corners all fluffed up. Healthy birds play, eat, sing and play some more. If you wait too long, you can lose your bird. Also if one bird is sick, the others' may not be far behind.

It is highly recommended that you take all your birds into vet at the same time, have testing done for infections, as they will all have the same infections if they are living in the same cage and/or room. Infections spread very easily and quickly with birds housed in the same cage, room or even house that shares the same recycled air.

Hope this helps, and if your birds look sick, they most likely are, and there is nothing we can do to help diagnose illness and injury in birds we cannot see, feel or touch in any way. This is the job of the avian vet.

Sick bird
by: Tracie

I sounds like your bird is sick and you need to get the bird to an avian vet ASAP. Bird's will hide their illness, so by the time they show they are sick, they are usually very sick.
