I got a bird from a guy we knew and we put him with our cockatiel... next thing you know he's on the bottom of the cage hopping and he can't really move that well he's weak .. his feathers are puffed up in the back what could be wrong?

Yes, the bird is likely sick. Please Find an Avian Vet for the sick bird, and mention that you have another bird in case it is contagious.

In the future, never put new birds in with other birds without a vet check. Things like this happen all the time. Even if a bird looks healthy, it could be harboring a disease.
