Editor's note: In the future if you want people to see and answer, you need to post a question, not an answer here to another question, on our Parrot Questions page.

Please use this Find an Avian Vet link to find an avian vet for your bird so it can be examined to determine what is wrong and what the potential treatment might be.

My Cure
by: Prashant

If your bird vomits or has a wet belly, with loose motions, give it a medicine famous in India and the adjacent countries, that is "Gramogyl". It also works for humans. 5 drops from a syringe will be good feed the medicine two times a day or mix it with the feed or water. It worked on my parakeet. I understand your love for the bird. There are very less avian vets here in Delhi too. Government vets are getting their salaries and are not working for the animals.

Sickness of the bird

well it is hard to diagnose what's wrong with the bird, but beside finding a Vet, try to hand-feeding her with very small pieces of bread and warm water mixed together. This is what I can think of.
Good luck

Ring Neck Sick?
by: john Fahlsing

I'm sorry i'm not a vet, but everyone will tell you, take it to a vet asap, don't let it get worse. Is he pooping? whats the colors, does he drink water, can you carefully examine him, use light tap water to feather back the feathers to search good, maybe a virus, sometimes my Baby gets biting, irrateable, and the like, but so far will eat anyway, thats always a good sign. I really hope your bird does ok and gets better, NO BETTER FRIEND, right?
See a vet! If you can...

Unknown parrot illness needs to be diagnosed
by: Tracie

You will need to Find an Avian Vet for your bird so it can be examined to determine what is wrong and what the potential treatment might be. This is the only way for your bird to get well.
