Bird without a cage
by: Tracie

Your bird might actually enjoy having a cage to sleep in. It would certainly be safer for him, because he might some day chew on some metal or something toxic and die if he has full run of the house.

You will need to purchase a cage and put his food, water and toys inside and leave the door open. It may take a long time for him to get used to going in the cage or he may like it instantly.

We put our birds in a dark room at night so they don't have hormonal problems and we know many people that do this without their birds getting mad at them.
