small bugs on the base of budgies feathers

hi there, We have recently noticed small light brownish cylinder looking bugs on our budgie generally on the feathers around the head. They can be seen if you ruffle these feathers, they attempt to crawl back towards to base of the feather once ruffled. Have been giving the bird regular baths to try and rid them.
what are they? And how can I get rid of them?

Bugs on bird

You need to take your bird to an avian vet. Our avian vet says that birds should not have mites if housed indoors, and from what others tell me you can't see them easily either. I am not sure what bugs are bothering your bird, but I am glad you are seeking help.

Please Find an Avian Vet to prescribe something, because our avian vet says that all the over the counter stuff can be fatal to birds. Also, you only want to treat what is wrong and not guess at what you are trying to treat.

Find an Avian Vet don't take your bird to a dog/cat vet, because they often accidentally kill birds due to a lack of training and experience with small birds.
