some sort of head injury?

So I have an older female cockatiel and the past year or so my family and I have noticed that she'll randomly fly into walls or fall off her perch. But today I noticed she's entirely off balance... she does have and old injury on her foot but that's completely healed and scarred over etc. This I think might have to do with a head injury... she moves her head all weird and faces slightly up and whenever she tries to fly she flips backwards onto her back as if that was up... and when she climbs she uses her beak to find her way and uses her claw and beak to keep her steady cause she gets off balance easily... its like she's dizzy or something... please help :(

Well she's fine besides the loss of balance and weord swiveling of the head. I just wanna get some opinions on what may have caused this...

Cockatiel with possible head injury

Dr B can not, and will not, attempt to help sick or injured birds over the Internet, because the only way for them to get help is to be seen in person. He does not want to encourage people to wait, while the bird is suffering, to Find an Avian Vet for their bird to see in person that can find the proper treatment to help the bird.

There is not a thing you can do to help your bird until you know what is wrong. The only way to find out what is wrong is to take the bird to an avian vet for an exam.
