Sqwaking parrot

Oh no, what you're doing is terrible. Squirting water, throwing things, banging on the cage or yelling isn't teaching the bird anything except to be afraid of you. You don't deserve this bird as a pet. If you don't have the time to interact, talk to and train him to be a pet, then maybe a bird is not for you. You should get some fish, they're quiet.

Alexandrine screaming all day
by: Tracie

Oh my!!! Your bird will NEVER feel safe and trust you if you keep squirting him with water, hit the cage, and throw soft balls at him.

Trying to be kind and understanding here, realizing that you HAVE written for help. But honestly what you need to is develop a relationship with your bird so you can train the bird. He has to love you so much he wants to please you.

Please read out training material on our Parrot Training page for help training your bird.

The concern is that your bird screams all day. Your bird may actually be hurting or not feel well and is trying to communicate this. Please Find an Avian Vet to examine your bird.
