Squeaking in her sleep

My blue and gold macaw periodically makes little squealing noises while age sleeps. Is this normal? She has always made random noises while sleeping. I'm curious as to why.

If this squeaking sounds anything like a breathing issue, it is serious. Most birds do not make random noises when they sleep unless they are hurting or their breathing is labored.

If it's been more than a year since bird's last visit to Avian Vet, this is the time to take him in for an exam to see if there is a physical cause for this squeaking.
