Stool stuck to parakeet's underside

I'm wondering if the bird is sick. He has stool stuck to her underside. She seems to be eating fine, but never drinks much water. She puffs up alot and breathes heavy and her wings seem to droop. Is there something I should do?

Your bird is sick and needs to be examined, diagnosed and treated by an Avian Vet in your area. These infections do not get better until bird is treated with medicine from an Avian Vet. What will happen here is your bird is on the way to dying. The symptoms are very obvious that your bird is in great distress, and why you have not taken her to an Avian vet before now is a great mystery to me.

Find an Avian vet in your area, and if you have to drive a ways to get to them, then do that. Your bird will die from this infection, and is already severely dehydrated.

ANYTIME YOU HAVE A SICK BIRD, IT HAS TO GO TO A BIRD DOCTOR. Just like when you are sick, you have to go to a human doctor. I don't understand what is SO complicated about taking a sick bird to an Avian vet.

Anyway, make appointment right away as your bird is very sick and will die without medical help.
