It sounds like blood circulation in one foot is cut off. Please get your bird to an Avian Vet as quickly as you can because the purple foot may be dying from lack of blood and will have to be amputated if not taken care of quickly. In fact bird may lose the whole leg, so get an appointment and find out what is wrong with bird's foot or feet.
