Thank you

Thankyou all for your help, the bird is doing better now. It has started to walk on one paw, the other paw is bandaged. Will have it removed by next week. Luckily it was not a mouse or cat bite.

Hurt sun conure

If this is a cat bite, your bird will die without antibiotics. You need to find a veterinarian that can administer and dispense medications. If it is not a cat bite, he is at least in tremendous pain and should still receive antibiotics. There is nothing you can do at home. Surely there is a veterinarian of some kind there?

If it is a wild bird and the damage is a you say it is the bird will most likely go into shock. Its a shame you dont have a vet in your area. Do you have a wildlife care centre anywhere to take the bird to?

Sun conure hurt :(

YOU NEED TO GET HIM INTO A VET'S OFFICE IMMEDIATELY SO HIS BROKEN LEG CAN BE SET.If the leg is not set immediately following a break the vet will have to re-break it to set it properly.

NEVER, NEVER LEAVE YOUR BIRD OUT WHEN THERE ARE OTHER PETS IN THE HOUSE ESPECIALLY CATS AND MICE OR RATS. Your bird probably has an infection from cat scratches or bites and birds sometimes die from the infections that follow a cat attack. What I'm saying is to get this bird medical help immediately or you may very well lose him!

IF YOU DON'T HAVE A BIRD VET IN YOUR AREA, THEN TAKE BIRD TO WHATEVER VET YOU HAVE AVAILABLE. YOUR BIRD IS IN AGONY, AND I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY TAKEN IT SOMEWHERE TO HAVE THESE WOUNDS CARED FOR, MEDICINES GIVEN, AND BROKEN LEG TAKEN CARE OF.Do not delay any longer or you will lose your bird.
