Hi I need help. I have a question. I'm hand feeding my baby red factor sun conure hes just weaned now but he is vomiting his formula and he don't want to eat the formula and his is not eating pellets or seed now. I give his 2 time a day. But Im scare I dont want my bird to get sick please give some advise..
Vomiting formula is not a weaning behavior, and your bird is sick with probably a bacterial infection which is common with babies. They can be deadly too if you don't get him to an Avian Vet right away. He will become severely dehydrated and then die from heart, kidney, liver failure, so move quickly.
Take his to be examined by an Avian Vet immediately and have him checked for both bacterial and viral infection. Avian Vet will give you meds to give to him, so do not use any over the counter meds or remedies as these will kill a baby bird.
Keep us posted, Linda

Please Find an Avian Vet for your bird right away. I am not a breeder, but this does not sound good.
