Usually the males tend to leave the seat up the up...ps the blue nose is the real answer, enjoy the molting season.

telling the sex of your Parokeet

Hi,

I have found that the males normally tend to have blue colored nostrils where the females tend to have pink nostrils at maturity.
I have found this to be so with all of my parokeets.
