swollen chest

i have a budgie with a swollen chest that has become prominent. he is not panting with his beak open but his breathing does seem laboured. he is eating but seems less active

You need to Find an Avian Vet for your bird soon. Dr B can not tell you what is wrong with your bird, because he can't examine the bird or run any tests.
