He needs to be seen by an avian veterinarian immediately. Head trauma can be deadly. Your bird is in danger for at least 24 hours after the accident. The best time for a head trauma to be seen is within 2 hours of the accident.

You need to take your bird to an Avian Vet to have her checked out. The impact could have caused much more damage than just the swollen eyes, so do not delay taking her in for am exam.

While at the Avian Vet's, please have them clip her Primary Wing feathers so this does not happen again. The Primary feathers are the long ones at the end of the wings, and she'll be able to glide to the floor once they are clipped but will not have any lift to do anymore flying into things.MAKE SURE THEY ONLY CLIP THE PRIMARY FLIGHT FEATHERS AS BIRDS ARE CRIPPLED AND IN PAIN IF ANY MORE THAN THOSE ARE CUT.

Thanks for writing,
Linda
