 Taming a 2 year old bird

With time and patience you can train your bird. Please read out training articles on our Parrot Training page for help with teaching your bird to do things you wish and spend time figuring out the signs your bird is scared, unhappy etc.

The more trust you have with your bird, the easier training will go. When you see the bird reacting scared or angry, slightly back off to show respect. Then when you can move a little closer, reward the bird. You will need a LOT of patience to train your bird but is can be done.
