tiny black and red insects

hello this morning i was looking at my budgies i have 8 budgies as i was looking i noticed that there were realy tiny red colour and black colour insects around the cage , under the cage and even on my wall they are so tiny you could hardly notice them unless u look at them very closely they are walking. what is worriying me is what are thety? are they becouse of the budgies? i keep them inside my home. they are on the wall im concernd tghey might even be on my sofas. what are they? how could i get rid of them and they dont come back. is there anything that i can use on my budgies.pleas give me good advice

Try and google seed mites they are tiny and come from some seeds. Try looking where the food is stored as you should see more there if this is the case. you need to make sure you only buy small quantities that can be used quickley.

You did not mention what country you live in. If you live in the US, then you need to call an exterminator that can treat your home with bird-safe products. (Orkin is what my mom uses, she just takes the bird out of the room when he sprays in her bedroom.)

Nobody can tell you what these bugs are without seeing them and having a knowledge of insects. If we don't live in your country, then we can't tell you what is available to kill the bugs without hurting the birds. If you live outside of the US, please Find an Avian Vet in your country that you can call and get advice.
